What's the easiest way to start your own Ebay Home Business? Does anyone have any tips? I've heard about you can use a drop shipping service or something to where you just take orders and don't even have to ship them yourself. I really don't have any useful crap of my own to sell. I would like to start some kind of home based business on Ebay though. Any suggestions would be great

I've read books, asked different people, but they all just do it to clean out their home or office as a way to get rid of junk. I am a crafter, and have been selling fabric and other craft items, with a good thought process, but after listing things for a couple of months and putting the effort into this, I've sold about $500 but that's about it. I seem to be spending way more time and money than other people are and they make lots and lots of money. The people who contact me and my feedback comments speak for themselves that I know how to do it, I'm just not finding the right selling "nitch" I need to have continuous sales. How do I start a successful part time ebay business after selling home items? want to wrk 20 hr wk $3-4k per m I've started selling items from home, and I'm trying to figure out what my next step should be. I do not have a niche market yet. I've only sold a few items so far, but it's pretty interesting. I can commit to 20 hrs per week doing this thing. What are the BEST products to sell online on a work-from-home part-time business or through ebay? My wife and I recently had our second child and my wife stays home full time. We'd like to generate a part-time income via an Internet store or ebay. We're not sure what products or product categories sell best and would like to learn more. my wife loves ebay, how can i turn this home based business of online sales in my favor come tax time? She's sold about $30 worth of items in 2006, (none in the state of NY where we live, so she doesn't even have to pay tax on those sales..right?) Yet we have lots of expenses we go through for this "home business" that she's started, (heat, electric, phone, etc..) she keeps all the transactions seperate by using (paypal). so i shouldn't have a problem filing a schedule C right?? My buddies keep telling me that the law doesn't state that you "have to make money", but i feel weird stating that we only made 30 bucks and yet deduct a couple hundred in expenses... what do you think?? I just called the IRS and the lady yelled at me! said i had to have re-occuring sales every couple of weeks and can't go around selling my junk instead i'd have to purchase items and sell for profit. I told her i did purchase but sold at a loss...then she said she was transfering my call to investigations and i hung up quick! now the phone won't stop ringing and i'm scared!!! You think they'll come for me?????
