Has anyone had any success passing the ideal match test for work at home company Arise? I am looking for a business opportunity to work from home and like the way Arise is set up but I just can't seem to pass the ideal match test. I want to make sure it is just not me.

how can i deal with stress from work and from home. i'm running out of energy and patience!? I work for a nationwide company that deals with home electronics and i am constantly bombarded with questions from customers and co-workers. I feel that whenever a problem arises that i'm the only one who can handle it because noone else seems to care. What can i do to reduce the stress at work. Should we let our kids stay home alone while we are at work? We have three kids ages: 12, 10 (will be 11 in July), and 7 (will be 8 in 10 days). I be starting a position working for the State doing clerical work only about 5 minutes from our house. I will only be be working 4 hours a day, and the hours I work are up to me as long as I am there. Even though it is only part time the benefits are excellant. Our 12 year old is extremely responsible, and our younger two sleep until noon during the summer. I figure if I work 7am to 11am I could be home way before they even get out of bed. Also I have several friends willing to help in case anything arises and post their cell # along with our #'s. They have been eating, sleeping, bathing, and feeding themselves on their own for years now. The main issue they have is beating each other up, but if the instagators are asleep? LOL I am a paranoid mom, but I recognize their independance and responsibility as well. They have NO desire to be in a daycare with "babies". Is this the way to go? I did call the local police department and they said according to state law, they are of age. My 12 year old is more mature than most 16 year olds so hiring a highschool kid would cost me money for my 12 year old to watch them. They also aren't allowed outside until I get I get home and if they defy that rule one of my neighbors will call me (I have spies LOL).
How many of you have a husband who hides at work when there are issues at home that need to be handled? My husband and I haven't spoken in days because I told him I wasn't happy and some things needed to change. He always clams up when it comes to "relationship" issues. I have just realized that whenever something like this arises he suddenly has problems at work that keep him there all hours. I know he isn't cheating, but I don't know what I should do. All we ever seem to talk about are superficial subjects. Anything deep and he shuts down and disappears. Am I the only one having this problem? What do others do about it? He says it is because his first wife was such a b%#!h and that is how he protected himself. I say he is just a coward! Wow, I am surprised at the hostility of the men answering. I work very hard and I spoil my husband too! I go for months working on issues alone because I know my husband doesn't like to deal with conflict. I only talk to him because there are two of us in this marriage and two of us should be dealing with the issues that arise. If I am going to have to deal with life all by myself I should just be all by myself. He told me when we first got married, "if you aren't happy tell me and we will work on it together because I want you to be happy". How can I find a grant? I want to stay home with my autistic son, I work fulltime, I am a fulltime student? I have 3 children one of whom is autistic. He is in day care while I am at work. I would like to be at home with him, and also continue my online college degree. I am married, I do 100% of the housework, cooking, cleaning, shopping, all of the laundry, dishes basically everything. My husband works but when he gets home, he pretty much watched TV and plays video games. I get up at 4:30 am everyday to get all three kids and myself ready, dressed, breakfast everything. We leave at 6:50 am I drop all of my children at their destinations. And head to work. I do all of my college assignments and essays during my 15 min breaks at work and hour lunch breaks. I have a 3.86 grade point average. The problem is, I cannot keep up this pace. And I worry about my son all the time at the school. The owner of the school calls me telling me she is going to kick my son out of the day care (he's 4 yrs old and beautiful) when problems arise. I get an upset stomach only when I drink flavored coffee coffeehouse coffee. Strong coffee @ home -no problem? I drink strong unflavored coffee without problem.I can use flavored cream at home - again, no problem. The problem arises when I drink flavored coffee from a cafe. I've tried opting out of whipped cream (at places like Starbucks), but that didn't help. The flavoring seems to be the only logical culprit, but I've never seen anyone else comment on this as a problem.

What can Stay at Home Mothers do to help bring in some funds? A discussion arose last night with a girlfriend about her staying at home after giving birth. She wants to devote as much time as possible to raising her child and educating him/her, but does want to bring in funds so her husband isn't as stressed to bring in the bills. Besides coupon clipping, not elaborately spending, having a small garden, and being a resourceful cook we were trying to think of things she could do about 10-20 hours a week on the side to bring in actual funds. She seems really stressed about not feeling like she's not being active in "bringing home the bacon." Any ideas on jobs that can be done out of the house with flexible and minimal hours?
How do I potty train 2 kids at one time? I have 16 month old twins (1 boy 1 girl) and I want to start potty-training them in about 2 months, I know some of you will say that they are too young but they are both very smart and I really believe they can do it. I know girls are easier to potty train so should I try to train her first? Should I get 2 separate potties for them? Should I use pull-ups? I also know that the daycare isn't going to help me (they are busy) so what should I do about that? It might confuse them that they have to go at home, but not at daycare. I'm going to buy some potty books and think of some kind of reward system, but I just really want to make sure that once I start, I don't stop because of problems that may arise. Only mommies (especially of twins!) or people who are around little kids a lot... I would really appreciate any advice.

Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework, then set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing. At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper. After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, and put them to bed. At 9 P.M. he was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint. The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: -"Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day. Please, oh! oh! please, let us trade back." The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied: "My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months though. You got pregnant last night." I didn't realise it had been posted last week, oh well nm, at least it made someone smile, mostly the ladies and boy would I love to see a guy carry for the full 9, they're bad enough with man flu for a day or 2, just imagine 9 months fellers, you'd all be suicidal by the second month!!!!!
I want to work from home... what can I do? I already work from home doing customer service from my house (Arise) but I can only do it while my son is napping and that is only a couple of hours a day. I am crafty so I can make almost anything. I have sold everything I can think of on eBay. I also have a 3-20 Public Adjusters license. I really need some ideas... How can I speed up Windows Vista Home Basic? We have a brand new computer with Windows Vista Home Basic. I know that with Vista just being released, there will be service packs and resolutions for problems that arise, but it is running very slowly. I have removed all of the extra software that comes preloaded, so it's has to be windows related. When I switch between users on the computer, it takes forever to load the screen once I have switched to the other users profile. Just in general, it is running slowly. Any suggestions?
Having trouble sleeping at home!!!!? Last September, I moved out for university to study Architecture - much to my delight :) But every time i come back and visit my rents, i get very sick the morning after. The moment i get into bed at home, i find myself rolling around, and start to get very ichy (skin). My eyes also start getting puffy and eventually turn red. By the time i wake up in the morning, my eyes are all red, some red lumps come up on my arms, my throat is incredibly soar and i catch a very nasty cold. This has been the same story every time i come back for the weekend. I can just about last a day or two back at home before getting back to my dorm in uni where i sleep completely fine and none of these above mentioned symptoms ever arise..... What can be wrong with my house back at home???

should i give birth at a large hospital further away from my home or a smaller one close by? The hospital further away from my home def has better medical technology but also uses and supports alot of intervention and i plan to go natural as i did with my first child. The smaller hospital allows more requests such as my daughter being in the labor room with me and walking around etc.. I am just worried that if an emergency did arise i would be better off at the larger hospital. My dr now does not deliver at the smaller hospital so i would also need to switch dr;s but i don't feel comfortable with him anyways... so what would you do?? thanks for the helpful answers!
is being a stay at home mom/wife wrong? My husband works and me & our daughter stay at home all day and keep ourselves occupied. but i was wondering, do you think this is wrong? me staying home with our daughter while he goes and works everyday. Or is it really the mans place to be out working while the woman stays home & holds the fort down? how can i treat seepage on all the walls (from floor level to 2 feet upwards) of my home? this problem has slowly and gradually arisen, within one year after construction, on the walls of all the homes built in our colony. the builder claims he has tried to prevent this on the plinth. The paint has swelled and is falling on this affected area of seepage. is there any effective way to stop this seepage to diffuse into the wall and keep paint intact? I don't know about where you live but here in Australia, 9/10 times they send you home with antibiotics (the only REAL advancement in medical science since the bone-saw) for every ailment from acne to the flu. What is that doing to our over-all well-being? And why is it that the giant medical industry seems to be doing everything tn their considerable power to impede the progress of those who genuinely strive toward advancements in human health and well-being? Is less sleeping or not sleeping until very late at night of child is something to worry? We have a very healthy and active 1 year old daughter. Our feeling from the day of her birth has been that she sleeps less than other infants. Also, she doesn't sleep until 10 or 11 at night, although she is not hungry and we maintain perfect silence in our home after 8:30 in the evening. Recently some friends told us that if small children don't sleep until very late at night, some brain related problems may arise when they become adults (we couldn't understand well, as our friend was speaking in Japanese). Do we need to worry about this? Is not sleeping of our daughter until very late some kind of disease or problem? We will be very grateful to your suggestions.
Is it wrong as a sixteen year old to want to work at a place that isn't fast food? Does anyone work for the work-at-home company arise? I am thinking about working for them I have already passed the tests but before I pay for the classes I was curious to know if anyone works for them and could give some info in regards to their income as well as whether or not it would be a good supplemental income or if it could be a good source for main income? My best friend works for circuit city and virgin mobile through arise and makes $13-$15 an hour and averages 35 hours per week and yes you do have to pay for training to work circuit city and virgin mobiles tech support. What I want to know if that is a unique incident? or does anyone work there and have a similar experience. I think you misunderstood, I know that it is a legitimate company as it is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Company and was featured on Good Morning America. So I just want to hear from people who actually work for them.
Losing good opportunities at work because your a mum? I started back work when my daughter was about 14 months, she's 22 months now.I work 3 full days a week, 2 of those days she stays with her grandparents & the other one she stays with my hubby on his day off. I enjoy my job,its a challenge that i need, staying at home is not an option for my sanity.I've been working seriously hard recently & a great opportunity has arisen.The only problem being i'd need to change my hours which would mean waking my girl up at 4am on 2 of the mornings to drop her off - its not going to happen & my in laws are making me feel guilty for even considering the change and don't think i should work at all anyway. I'll have to turn it down & it annoys me that the only time I get a chance like this I can't take it. Have you had to turn down good opportunities because your a parent also and how did you feel?

Pitbull question problem at home? Not really. But I'm sure dozens of you clicked this question to see what the problem was. Some of you educated pitbull owners clicked to see if you could help. The others clicked hoping to see home terrifying story about my pitbull attacking and mauling a child, dog or person. Well, that is far from the case. The only thing any of my pitbulls have been guilty of is being loving, caring and nurturing animals. And now they are potentially on the chopping block for this. It is ridiculous. King TootinComm- I know you are the one giving the pitbull supporters the thumbs down. Well, hey. That's ok.I gave you thumbs down too. Childish, I know. And I thought it was rather sadistic that you tried to post the story about the infant getting mauled by a pitbull. Honestly, I'm glad that the pitbull supports are so many here. We need more people like them to combat the ignorance of people like you. I know Kristin B is one of the most educated members about pitbulls I have seen. I have even learned some things from her and I thought I knew quite a bit about the breed. Anytime a pitbull question arises or someone so stupidly asks 'Do you like pitbulls', I feel forced to answer the question then defend my breed of dog. It should not be that way. I should be able to simply answer the question and not have to correct someone when they say that all pitbulls are vicious, maneaters. I don't know the point of this post. Why is my home computer telling me I can't download something as I don't have administrator rights? I have only ever had this problem arise in the office before, as we don't have permission to download anything. However, how is that I don't even have administrator rights on my own computer? It's something to do with Citrix that I need to download, in connection with childcare vouchers. Can anyone help please?

Dating and living at home? I moved back home with my mother some time after my father passed away. In my 20's and 30's, I lived alone or with roommates. Now, all of my friends are married with families. I am a college graduate. But, I am overqualified for my position and my salary doesn't match my education level. I am focusing on getting a 2nd job or applying for higher paying positions. I also got accepted into a Grad program. I am saving $ to move again. Making new friends is difficult because people tend to judge adults who live at home with a parent. Dating is awkward. I reconnected with someone and we are discussing a date. He owns his own home. I want him to like me. I think it would be best to meet him somewhere for a date. What should I tell him if any questions arise about my living arrangement? I am an honest person and I hate lying to people. What is the probability of him thinking I am a loser if he knows I live at home? Please help.
I had an anxiety attack at work on friday. How do I keep calm? Thursday I went home early from work from a migraine I am pretty sure due to stress and friday I am pretty sure I had an anxiety attack in the bathroom. I felt like I really had to go #2 but couldn't and then I got all dizzy and felt sick to my stomach as well as having hot and cool flashes. I was in there for a long time and felt like dying. The thing is I love my job. It's a graphic design job (my first GD job and I went to school for this so I am very happy to have this job.) I actually moved cities and took this job so it was quite the accomplishment for me. BUT now work has become extremely stressful. I am the ONLY designer at this company and it is busy season and there is SOOO much work! I work at a small company and I have a huge responsibility. When I first started at this job there was another designer. So i wasn't even really doing any design work. the plan was to ease me in BUT then the designer quit and ended up in the hospital from anxiety. SO.... I was put into this position and the first few weeks were fine. An old designer came in to help me... but now that designer left because she had another job and now I am all alone and have no one else to help me. PLUS there are a lot of Chinese people and English is there 2nd language and I work indirectly with them so communication has been hard and problems and stress has been arising from miscommunication. ALSO... I've made some mistakes that has cost the company. careless spelling mistakes BUT a small mistake became big. So... I am all stressed. I moved for this job I love the work I do but lately everyone has been stressing me out and I have no one to help me and I am scarred I am going to have another issue with anxiety or that I will get fired. Today I have been upset because work tomorrow is all that is on my mind.

does anyone know what problems may arise from a home not built on a foundation? the house i rent is for sale but i don't know if i should buy it because it's not built on a foundation. i see some separation around the chimney & porch but it was built in the 50's... if it's been this long is it really that big a deal? it is built directly on the dirt
Who is responsible for the problems arising in my home purchase? I just bought a home last month. I continually find a new problem every week, dishwasher plumbing was incorrectly installed, water coming in a poorly installed french door, 110v appliance plugged in to a 220v plug. Can I sue the seller, the home inspector, my real estate broker? I keep calling the seller to come and fix the problems, he told me today to go and read our sales contract and to leave him alone.
