work at home jobs?

Does anyone know any work at home jobs that are real? I have always wondered if this is a scam or is it real. Do people really get paid wroking at home? Can you do work at home on your computer and get paid? The few that I have looked on the internet; they want you to pay money up front first. Why, can anyone tell me. If anyone knows any thing feel free and share.

Public Comments

1. I'm beginning to think that there is no such thing. Everything that is offered, or advertise is nothing but fraud.he few that are legit pays so little, it is NOT worth the effort.

2. Almost all of them are not genuine, no body is going to pay just for logging in to their site. In most of the cases it is only phishing to know your ID. Be careful. Do not fall prey to those. Every day I receive minimum 10 such sites in my mail box. " earn 5000 $ per month just sitting a home and surfing " do you believe it ? If it would have been true, by now there were, millions of billionaires around us. Good luck.

3. Don't pay money up front - or if you do what are you getting in return? Meaning training, a % off things.

I suggest network marketing. If you find a product that works for you or your family it's easy to "sell".
You can network from home, along side another job or build your business yourself.

Don't be scammed and if it sounds to good to be true or you pay and get what? It's not worth it or the job for you.

4. Never Pay! That is scam rule #1
I write articles, how-to's and reviews for websites. They are always looking for new unique opinions.

5. First, you never have to pay for a job. If there really is a fee it is the employeer who pays to find you, not the other way around. You are looking at scams.

I have worked at home for over 16 years, to stay at home with my kids. So there are ARE real jobs, about 25% of the people I know socially work at home. Incomes range from 40k to about 200k depending on the skill level of the person.

YOu need to apply in your profession at regular companies. In your cover letter indicate you are a "home office" employee. The hiring process is the same. A few companies require you to provide your own office equipment, but not all. My present one provides my cell phone, computer, fax machine, etc. I send them my internet and land line phone bill and they pay it. They reimburse for paper, toner, etc.

AT&T and Disney both hire a lot of home workers.

6. I just answered this same question for someone else. Here's what I said:

Try www.wahm.com. It's a work at home website for mothers (and dads). You can read the discussions about various opportunities on the message boards there.

I worked for LiveOps before - you can find it on the wahm website or go directly to liveops.com. LiveOps is a company that hires independent contractors to answer infommercial calls. You get $0.25 per minute of talk time. They offer lots of support and give incentives for certain high volume call times. It's an ok job, just a lot of scripts to read. Pay is on time and can be direct deposited. They do require a $30 background check fee, but they are a legit company. You can work for them as many or as little hours as you want.

There are similar companies like www.workathomeagent.com (aka West), willow csn (now known as arise) and alpine access. They are all legit companies. But read the opinions and comments from people who work for them - wahm message boards.

There are many, many more companies on wahm. Read the message boards and look at the job postings.

Also try www.mommyessentials.com. They have many of the same jobs listed under telecommuting.

I also work for ETS - www.ets.org (click on scoring opportunities on the left side of the screen). They hire people with bachelor degrees and up to score standardized tests. It's also a great company. They are the ones who administer the SAT.

I know people who are medical transcribers, but you have to invest time and money into a transcription school. They work from home and are quite comfortable financially.

I wish you the best. If I think of any other sites or opportunities, I will pass them on.

7. Personally I never join a site that charges a fee. I do not believe in paying someone to work for them. If you want more information on what is available and how to do it go to http://realworkathomeopportunities.blogspot.com
It has all kinds of free programs that really pay.
Plus resources and tools to help you get started. You can make money online. But when in doubt research out the program first to make sure it is legit. There are resources for that too on that site. I hope this helps you out.

8. Go and visit http://www.googleadvertise.com they have the best program on the net today.

9. Can earn money anotmatic Free the hotlest global net work AGLOCO website : http://www.agloco.com/r/bbct3022......

Dear all, I recently joined AGLOCO. I am now promoting it to you because I like the idea and I want you to share in what I think willl be an exciting new internet concept. Advertisers, seach providers and online retailers are paying billions to reach you while you surf. AGLOCO collects money from thosecompanies on be half of its members:

Agloco is building a new form of online community that they call an Economic network They are not only paying members their fair share. but they're building a community that will generate the kind of fortune that YouTube made but instead of that wealth making only a few people rich, the entire community will get its share. what's the catch? No catch, no spyware, no pop-ups and no spam-membership and software are free and AGLOCO is 100% member owned . Privacy is a core value and Agloco never sells or rents member information.

10. The $ upfront is like buying a blue print to the business. You wouldn't assume that you could open a Krispy Kreme Donut shop without investing in the company. You probably won't ever find something that you can do and get paid for that you don't invest in up front(I'd be worried if you did). What I'll tell you is that this opportunity has worked for me and countless others. It's not like the rest, so please check it out.
http://www.dreamweaversteam.com
It is well worth your time, and available in the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, and about 15 other nations globally at this time. It is the early stages still with less than 50,000 reps but growing fast, so now is the time.

11. I am just starting on a stay at home company if you want more info email me

12. You might want to try Ameriplan USA. I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls under the age of 2. I work about 15 hours per week. I have been with the company for only 2 months and am making $200 a week. Next month I will be making $300 a week. Also if I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My good friend Becky started 2 years before me. She is now making $90,000 a year.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit and a benefits package. In addition, there are no products, no selling, no cold calling and no telemarketing!

I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week.

I was scared at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is a the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Also they were featured in “US News & World Report”, “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal”, “American Medical Review” and “American Business Review” Even “60 Minutes” did a big special on them!

So I felt safe with them, that and my friend was already making so much money with them. Check them out!
