Stay at home or return back to work?
Hi i'm a First time mommy of a beutiful baby girl. I'm 33 yrs old when i had my daughter 2 half months ago. I have been at my job for 13 yrs it's a great paying job and great benefits considering i don't have a degree. My husband also has a great paying job but we would be taken a financial drop if i quit to stay at home to take care of my daighter. I have no family nearby or friends to watch my daughter they all work full time jobs or live far away. I looked into childcare witch would cost me $150.00 to $200.00 a week. I bring home $350.00 a week. I'm sure that there are some great day cares out there. Im responsible for anything that happens to my daughter i couldn't live with myself knowing something happened to her while i was at work. If i stay at home we wpould go on my husbands health insurance and we would be paying $300.00 a month. With my insurance we just paid the cost of co-pay which still adds up at the end the year. I trust that my husband will take care of us.

1. why is this in the immigration section and you should discuss this with your husband not strangers.
2. Your daughter will only be a baby once. If you can possibly swing it--and based on the numbers you shared, its looks possible--stay home with your baby.
When she's 2 or so, it would be good for her to be in daycare or around other kids....and you can always go back to work.
But you will never get this time back.
3. Just stay at HOME your baby needs you most, money comes second , I have 18 Months boy and I'm staying with him till he goes to KG and than go to work Especially I'm a single parent nobody can take care of him if I don't
4. what is this question doing in immigration......if you are an illegal go back to mexico and take your child with you....if not then you and your husband need to sit down and discuss this
5. I joined a site where you can earn money from home, and it is free. If you like writing, you can earn money there. There is a special need for writing on topics about being a Mother.
