I am looking for a telecommuting position or a legitamate home based business- no fees?

I'm not interested in selling anything. or recruiting other people. How do verify these companies are legitamate. I've had a few co's contact me about Freight forwarding and check clearing that just sound way to good to be true and fraudulent.

1. Yes, alot of those are scams!! I was emailed an at home position yesterday that sounded great until I pulled up their website and read the requirements. The job would have been accepting payments for bulk purchases for this company. I would have been sent appr.900$ per day money gram and all I had to do was cash it and keep 15%. But I have fallen for this once before and cashed a 2400$ money gram at my bank that turned out to be fraudulent. You can find out if the company is legit by contacting the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357 or www.ftc.gov. If you like to shop and not sell, I know the SecretShopper is legit. It is fun too. But there are several of these that are fraudulent too. Just check before filling anything out.

2. there are no jobs on the net with no fees!! I've been around for years!! you can make money, and not all of them ae scams, but there's alyaws a fee, and if not - you will pay for ads to promote the programs...and most people give up and don't make money, so they end up losing.
this is totaly free, won't make you rich but there are no hidden fees, and with refferals you can make $200-300 doing nothing.

6. If you type, and have a decent typing speed, there are several transcription opportunities online. I began searching two years ago, and for the last year, I've been working pretty steadily. The best way I found to find these jobs is by doing searches on "telecommute" or "telecommuting" or by setting up a Google alert and having e-mailed to you all new entries with those key words. You don't have to do medical transcription. There are other options. I disagree with the person who said there are no opportunities that don't involve fees. Real jobs involve real work, and they do pay. All of the legitimate companies I've found require you to do a test first. Best of luck.
