1. I have never found a legitimate work at home job advertised on the Internet or in the paper. They all want money and you get little or nothing in return. I currently work at home for my own bookkeeping company and I do legal work for another company, a job which I got by working in house first. Most companies don't want telecommuters until the person has proven their worth by working at the company. Some businesses are more receptive than others. My best advice is to seek out a company that could work out for you, work for them and try to sell yourself to management as a telecommuter. You may just find the perfect telecommuting job!

Good luck! Never pay someone for a "job" - if they really want you, they pay you!!

2. ***I didn't have to pay for anything to start working for this co. you can go to womenforhire.com and they are on there and they were on the abc GMA show**

i currently work for westathome.com

i answer calls for people calling in to order stuff from infomercials, but they have other calls you can take too, like GE service calls, sears service calls, virgin mobile..etc.

I have found other sites too, the best one so far is alpineaccess.com. it is like a regular 9-5 job with benefits, but from home. for all of these you have to have dsl or cable. no dial up. alpine access only has numbers in certain areas, and not in my area, but they seem like the best with benefits, not just a contract employee.

Good luck

3. all are BS but my sister worked for a company called www.bebo.com

4. Many refer to programs as scams when they venture into them with the wrong ideas in mind.
YES there are many scams online however there are just as many legit programs that you can get involved in. You only make money when you're coachable and follow programs that provide a decent SYSTEM for average person success.
Do NOT be misled. Some programs offer JOBS and other programs offer OPPORTUNITIES...BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
Obviously if you start a business, then you'll have to invest SOME amount of money.
Don't confuse the 2 and go around saying that people want you to PAY THEM for a job.
