Telecommuting, What is it EXACTLY?
Does it involve calling and talking to people by phone? Im confused. I looked it up but i'm still lost.

1. It means working from home or a remote office. Typically it means phoning in to your central workplace for conference calls, and networking into your central workplace for access to computers. All in addition to simply working on projects without going into the office (e.g., writing a report that doesn't require being physically present at the office). It can also mean giving presentations via phone conference and WebEx.
Many workers telecommute one or more days a week to avoid long commutes from their home to their company's central office. Essentially, it's taking work that doesn't require being in the office to complete, and completing it from home or some other remote location.
