Are ther telecommuting bookkeeping jobs out there ?

I would like to go into the office once a week and pick up assignments. Then as the assignments are done send back via internet or return cd's the following week when new work is picked up.

1. Me too - let me know if you find a position that needs TWO. I have a special needs child and I work over an hour a way from home. I need to spend more time with her but can't find anything that offers that type of flexibility.

2. Have you considered starting your own home-based business? You could provide your services to others and advertise to select businesses and/or individuals. Work as much as you want or as little as you want.

There are a lot of options open to you, actually. If you create your own website (like I did), you can attract business from many areas which will increase your reach as well as set you up as a "bookkeeping expert".

Give yourself time to build your business and don't expect it to happen overnight. It could be a whole new world of opportunity for you.
