I am doing an online technical writing internship, and it sounded easy, but it is not what I expected, and the

my major is print journalism, and I wanted to do something that involved technical writing. I was lucky enough to find this place where I can complete tasks online, and while communicating online it sounded simple enough, like something I would not mind doing. But yesterday the woman wanted to meet me here on campus, and she asked me how I was coming along with the assignment she had previously given me. I told her about what I was doing, and she said there was more to it than that, and she also proceeded to discuss other future tasks, and suddenly it all seemed like so much to do, and I became overwhelmed just thinking about it. She also said that doesn't really have anybody to work with her, and that she would be willing to offer me a job when I get out of college...but I really do not want a job so much responsibility. I just want a job where I can just come in and do the job for a set of hours, and then leave without having to worry. I want to be able to separate work from other
the reason she probably does not have anyone to work with her is probably because everyone else was just like me and did not want to be overwhelmed with the job, and was scared off as a result. But I have never had a paying job because no one ever ended up hiring me, and here it is that someone may actually be offering me a paying job, so I do not want to turn down the offer. But at the same time I also do not want to have so much responsibility. I want to be able to separate work/job time from other time. Isn't there any job that involves writing where I can do that, i.e. just be working for a set number of hours a day and not have to think or worry about job responsibilities outside of that time? Or can someone tell me some potential careers possibilities that fit that description?
also, she said if I were to be working with her then I would have to be living somewhere where I can get the internet and have a computer. But when not staying on campus I must stay with my father at his mother's house, and she has no computer or internet. I saw a mobile home for $15,750, but the down payment is 10% (or $1,750), not to mention the potential closing costs, and I can't get a loan for any of the costs, nor can my father, unless at least one of us has a job. So in order to get into the mobile home (where I could probably get the internet myself) I would first have to be getting paid... so I should probably get a different job first (not working for the lady) where I do not need the internet until/unless I can get into the mobile home or an apartment, and then consider working for the lady once/if I was staying somewhere where I could get the internet, since she said I would need the internet.

1. Why not get a regular part time job to pay for the down payment for the mobile home. Guessing that you will not be graduating for a couple of years or so, if you get a part time job you can get well over the down payment.
